Dr. Stephen Zonca is a board-certified plastic surgeon with a background in general surgery. He brings his wide range of surgical knowledge to help his patients in as many ways as possible.
After attending Wayne State University Medical School, he completed 7 years of surgical training in general and plastic surgery at Wake Forest University. During his training, Dr. Zonca won multiple awards for his work with medical research projects. He is passionate about finding better ways to help patients, and that’s why he continues to participate in research efforts to this day. In addition, he is the co-director of wound care at Great Lakes Specialty Hospital and the Mercy Wound Care Center, as well as a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Zonca performs a full spectrum of surgical procedures with special interest in breast augmentation, tummy tucks, and comprehensive facial rejuvenation, including minimally invasive office procedures.
Dr. Dena Thayer is board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
She received her medical degree from Des Moines University in 1997 and completed her training in general and plastic surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. During her time in Philadelphia, she cared for melanoma patients at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan and spent six months at the Burn Center at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. Since then, she has been practicing in West Michigan and performs surgery at Mercy General Health Partners, North Ottawa Community Hospital, and the Muskegon Surgery Center. She is the co-director of wound care at Great Lakes Specialty Hospital and the Mercy Wound Care Center.
Her special interests include breast surgery, breast cancer reconstruction, and body contouring. Dr. Thayer lives with her husband and 3 daughters in Norton Shores. In her free time, she’s all about the outdoors and tries to go running, sailing, and camping as much as possible.
Ryan TerLouw, M.D. is a plastic surgeon who completed his undergraduate studies at Hope College and attended medical school at the University of Iowa.
He went on to attend Georgetown University in Washington DC for his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency. Afterward, he completed a fellowship in facial reconstruction at the Royal Free Hospital in London, England and Erasmus University Hospital in the Netherlands.
Dr. TerLouw offers a wide range of aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries including surgery of the hand. He specializes in reconstruction of head and neck, skin cancers as well as facial reanimation after facial paralysis.
His interests include facial reconstruction, skin cancer, migraine headache surgery, breast reconstruction, surgery of the hand and cosmetic surgery. He is currently accepting new patients.
Dr. TerLouw and his wife reside on the lakeshore and enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with their family.
Karyn McCollum , ANP-C, is board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
She has recently joined the surgeons to provide excellent care with recommended treatments and procedures. She brings with her experience in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University in 2005 and a Masters in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2012. She resides in Grand Haven with her family and enjoys running and Lake Michigan.
Amy Tardani is a registered nurse and a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skincare Specialists.
Amy is a registered nurse who specializes in facial aesthetics. She has been a registered member of the Society of Plastic Surgeons for 10 years.
Amy is certified in all facial fillers and neurotoxins including Radiesse, Restylane, Juvederm, Botox, and Dysport.
She also specializes in Microlaser Skin Resurfacing using the Sciton Profile aesthetic laser for treatment of hyperpigmentation, rosacea, vascular lesions, and laser hair removal.
She treats many different skin conditions such as acne, pigment, fine lines and wrinkles using chemical peels and is able to bill insurance for treatment of acne.
Nikki Moberly is licensed massage therapist who is now accepting new patients and clients for medical and relaxation massage.
Nikki is a Licensed Massage Therapist for medical massage treatment and massage for relaxation. She is also trained in a wide variety of techniques.
Sarah is a licensed massage therapist and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
She received her training at the Alexander School of Natural Therapeutics in Washington. Sarah is trained in a variety of massage modalities such as: medical massage, deep tissue, pregnancy massage, trigger point, cupping therapy and myofacial release. Sarah is also trained in our skincare lines and offers facials and microdermabrasions. She is now accepting new clients.
Nicole Miller is a licensed aesthetician who performs chemical peels and microdermabrasion.
Nicole is a licensed aesthetician and works in skin care performing chemical peels and microdermabrasion. She is also certified through Permark in permanent cosmetics. Her expertise lies in applying permanent eyeliner, eyebrows, and lips, in addition to nipple tattooing for post-cancer reconstruction. Nicole is also trained in Xtreme Lashes and microneedling. Nicole’s passion is helping her clients feel amazing about themselves.
Allison Jensen is MSA’s spa coordinator, a Certified Medical Assistant, and a licensed cosmetologist.
Allison specializes in the Jane Iredale makeup line.
Karly Kelley is the Operations and Sales Supervisor at MSA Plastic and Hand Surgery and Pure Medical Spa.
